The former London residence of Imran Khan has been put on the market with an asking price of £25 million. The historic property, known as Ormeley Lodge, is located on Ham Common in Richmond, southwest London, near Richmond Park.
The house is closely linked to Imran Khan’s personal and political life. He lived there for several years with his former wife, Jemima Khan, and her mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith. Even after the couple separated, Khan continued to use part of the property during his visits to London.
According to the property listing, Ormeley Lodge is an early Georgian detached home covering approximately 15,814 square feet. It features 10 bedrooms, seven bathrooms, large gardens, and a separate cottage.
The property became well known among both British society and Pakistan’s political community. During his time in London, Imran Khan regularly held meetings at the residence with political figures, journalists, and close associates.
The home also served as a base for some of Khan’s media appearances. Around 2006, he recorded messages and television programmes for Geo News from the property as part of the channel’s “Pukaar” campaign following Pakistan’s devastating floods.
A source from the Goldsmith family confirmed that the decision to sell the house came after the death of Lady Annabel Goldsmith in October 2025. The family said there was no longer a practical reason to keep the property.
According to the source, the house holds many important family memories. However, with Jemima Khan now living elsewhere in West London and her two sons living independently, the family decided it was time to place the property on the market.
The source also described the passing of Lady Annabel as a major loss for the family. They said her death left a deep emotional void and influenced the decision to sell the historic residence.
For nearly two decades, Imran Khan used Ormeley Lodge as his main London base. He stayed there during his marriage to Jemima Khan and later continued using the annexe after their divorce.
The property remained associated with Khan until around 2014. Reports suggest he stopped staying there after his marriages to Reham Khan and later Bushra Begum.
In later years, the Richmond home became the site of several political protests. In 2014, demonstrators gathered outside the property while Khan was inside. He later left the residence in a vehicle driven by his close aide, Zulfi Bukhari.
Following Khan’s removal from office, the house again attracted attention as supporters of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz staged protests outside the residence. These demonstrations were linked to political tensions involving rival gatherings outside the Sharif family’s Avenfield apartments in London.
Jemima Khan publicly criticised the protests on several occasions. She argued that her elderly mother’s private residence should not become the target of political demonstrations.

Today, Ormeley Lodge remains an important landmark connected to both British high society and Pakistan’s political history. While it served as a cherished family home for the Goldsmith family, it also became one of the most recognised overseas addresses associated with Imran Khan and his political activities.
