Balochistan Launches First E-Domicile System for Digital Certificate Services

The Balochistan government has launched its first E-Domicile and E-Local Certificate System to simplify the process of obtaining official certificates. The new digital service aims to make applications faster, more transparent, and more secure for citizens across the province.

The initiative has been introduced through the Integrated Domicile Management System (IDMS) in partnership with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Officials said the new E-Domicile system will replace many manual procedures with a modern digital process.

According to the provincial government, citizens will be able to apply for domicile and local certificates through official digital channels instead of relying on traditional paperwork. The move is expected to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary delays.

Once the system becomes fully operational, residents across Balochistan will have multiple options for submitting their applications. They will be able to apply through NADRA registration centers, Deputy Commissioner offices, and the Pak-ID platform.

Officials believe the digital process will make government services more accessible, especially for people living in remote areas. It will also reduce the need for repeated visits to government offices.

The government said the E-Domicile system has been designed to strengthen record verification and improve the overall accuracy of official documents. Digital verification will help ensure that only eligible applicants receive domicile and local certificates.

Authorities also expect the new system to reduce the issuance of fake or fraudulent certificates. By maintaining secure digital records, the government hopes to improve trust in the certification process.

Another important objective of the project is to eliminate the role of middlemen. Officials said applicants will be able to complete the process through official channels, making the system more transparent and reducing opportunities for unauthorized involvement.

The digital platform is also expected to strengthen coordination between different government departments. Verified records will allow public institutions to access and confirm citizen information more quickly whenever required.

Law enforcement agencies are also expected to benefit from the centralized digital database. Easier access to verified records can improve identity verification and support official investigations when necessary.

Officials described the initiative as an important milestone in Balochistanโ€™s digital transformation. They said the government is committed to introducing modern technology to improve the delivery of public services across the province.

The launch of the E-Domicile system is part of a broader plan to modernize government operations and provide citizens with faster and more reliable services. Digital platforms are expected to improve transparency while reducing administrative burdens for both applicants and government offices.

Authorities believe the project will create a more efficient and citizen-friendly system for issuing official certificates. As the service expands across the province, residents are expected to benefit from a simpler application process, improved verification, and greater convenience.
