A milkman in Lahore’s Nawankot area has been stopped by the Lahore Traffic Police after officials discovered he had accumulated Rs100,000 in unpaid E-Challans. The action was taken during a routine traffic inspection conducted by the city’s traffic enforcement team.
According to the Lahore Traffic Police, the rider was checked by Traffic Inspector Nadeem Ullah during a regular inspection. While reviewing the motorcyclist’s record, the officer found that the rider had 50 pending E-Challans linked to his motorcycle.
Officials said all of the challans were issued because the rider repeatedly operated his motorcycle without wearing a helmet. Despite receiving multiple traffic penalties over time, the motorcyclist continued to ignore road safety rules and kept riding without complying with the law.
The traffic police decided to take legal action after confirming the large number of unpaid violations. The rider’s motorcycle was seized on the spot and later shifted to Nawankot Police Station for further legal proceedings.
Authorities said the case highlights the importance of following traffic laws and paying outstanding E-Challans on time. They stressed that repeated violations can result in stricter enforcement measures, including the impounding of vehicles.
