The Oppo A7 series has expanded with the launch of the new Oppo A7 Pro Max in China. The latest smartphone brings a huge 10,000mAh battery, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor to the mid-range market.
The new Oppo A7 model stands out because it features the largest battery ever used in an OPPO smartphone. The company says the battery is designed for long-term durability and can retain at least 80 percent of its original capacity after 1,500 charging cycles.
Large Battery in a Slim Design
Despite its massive battery, the Oppo A7 Pro Max remains relatively slim. The phone measures 162.98 x 77.97 x 8.57mm and weighs between 224g and 226g, depending on the color option.
The device is also built to handle demanding conditions. It carries an IP69K rating, offering strong protection against dust and water exposure.
AMOLED Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate
The Oppo A7 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming.
The display can reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, making it easier to use outdoors in bright sunlight. An optical fingerprint scanner is integrated under the display for secure unlocking.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 Processor
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. The processor is designed to deliver reliable everyday performance while maintaining good power efficiency.
The chipset is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Buyers can choose from several configurations, including 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. Higher-end versions offer 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB storage.
The phone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, providing the latest software features and system improvements.
Dual Rear Cameras and 50MP Selfie Camera
For photography, the phone includes a dual rear camera setup. It features a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
On the front, the device offers a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera. The high-resolution front sensor is suitable for selfies, video calls, and content creation.
Fast Charging and Reverse Charging
The biggest highlight of the phone remains its 10,000mAh battery. OPPO says it is built for long-lasting performance and improved battery health over time.
The device supports 80W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge quickly. It also supports 27W reverse wired charging, enabling the phone to charge compatible devices when needed.
Price and Availability
The Oppo A7 Pro Max has been launched in China with a starting price of $325.
At present, OPPO has not announced whether the device will be released in Pakistan. The company’s official Pakistan website currently lists several A-series smartphones, but the Oppo A7 Pro Max is not among them.
Although there is no official confirmation, a Pakistan launch remains possible because of OPPO’s strong presence in the local market. If the phone arrives in Pakistan, its retail price is expected to be higher than the Chinese price due to taxes, import duties, and other market costs.
