Women politicians in Balochistan have condemned attacks allegedly linked to the BLA against civilians, women and children.
The politicians addressed a press conference and called for stronger efforts against terrorism across the province.
Chief Minister’s Adviser Meena Majeed Baloch spoke alongside Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola and Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani.
Politicians Condemn Killing of Woman and Daughter
Meena Majeed alleged that militants entered a house and killed two female family members. She identified the victims as 50-year-old Bibi Hanifa and her 17-year-old daughter.
Meena accused militants associated with the BLA of targeting civilians and spreading fear among local communities. She said peaceful Baloch citizens had no connection with militant groups or acts of terrorism.
The adviser said the provincial government would continue efforts to counter terrorism. She added that authorities wanted to promote peace, education, development and prosperity across Balochistan.
Meena also said action was underway against those responsible for the killing of Asma Jattak’s father. She urged citizens to speak against attacks targeting women and families inside their homes.
Education Minister Condemns Attacks on Women
Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani also condemned violence against women. She said militants could not achieve their objectives by targeting women.
Raheela questioned what attackers hoped to accomplish through such acts of violence in Balochistan. She stressed that attacks against women should be strongly condemned.
Deputy Speaker Calls for Justice
Balochistan Assembly Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola said those responsible for killing women should face justice. She highlighted the respected position of women within Baloch and Pashtun traditions.
Gola said the issue was particularly important for elected representatives and provincial parliamentarians. Hadia Nawaz also expressed concern over women being killed inside their homes.
She said such incidents raised broader concerns about public safety. Nawaz urged citizens to condemn terrorism and remain united against violence.
Government Officials Call for Unity
Chief Minister’s Adviser Shahid Rind also raised concerns about militant violence.
He alleged that women and children were not safe from militants. Rind further claimed that militants were using women and children to advance their objectives.
Provincial politicians called for collective efforts to protect civilians and restore lasting peace. They also stressed the importance of education and development in countering instability across the province.
The politicians maintained that ordinary Baloch citizens should not be associated with militant organisations. Their statements followed allegations of civilian attacks involving the BLA in Balochistan.

Authorities have pledged action against those responsible while provincial leaders continue calling for unity against terrorism.
