The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the rechecking schedule for Intermediate Part-II papers.

The schedule is for students who were unsuccessful in one or more subjects. It applies to the first annual examinations held in 2026.

According to the announced rechecking schedule, students can apply online from September 24. The deadline for submitting rechecking applications is October 8.

Students who want their papers reviewed must submit their requests within the given period. They must also pay the required rechecking fee.

The board has fixed the rechecking fee at Rs1,300 per subject. Students will need to pay the fee for each paper they want rechecked.

The online application process is intended to make paper rechecking easier for candidates. Students should complete their applications before the deadline.

The BISE Lahore announcement comes after the results of the Intermediate Part-II first annual examinations. Thousands of students appeared in the examinations across different groups.

According to the official gazette, 192,950 candidates registered for the examinations. A total of 189,373 candidates appeared in the exams.

The results showed that 123,060 candidates successfully passed their examinations. The overall pass percentage stood at 64.98%.

Students who did not pass certain subjects can now use the rechecking process. The procedure allows candidates to request a review of their examination papers.

The rechecking schedule provides students with a specific period for submitting their requests. Candidates should ensure their applications are submitted before October 8.

The board has also provided details about the required fee. Students must pay Rs1,300 for every subject selected for rechecking.

Earlier, BISE Lahore announced the top position holders for the Class 12 examinations. Two candidates jointly secured the overall first position.

Mubashra secured 1,158 marks out of 1,200. She belongs to Government Degree College for Women, Islampura, Lahore.

Syed Muhammad Mohyuddin also scored 1,158 marks. He represents Government College University Lahore.

Both candidates shared the first position with the same number of marks. Their results placed them at the top of the overall rankings.

Muhammad Ahmad Shaukat and Muhammad Junaid Amjad jointly secured second position. Both candidates scored 1,157 marks out of 1,200.

Ayesha Bakhsh secured third position with 1,156 marks. The results highlighted strong performances among the leading candidates.

Meanwhile, other students can now focus on the rechecking process. The rechecking schedule gives unsuccessful candidates an opportunity to submit their requests.

Students should carefully follow the board’s online procedure. They should also ensure the required fee is paid for each selected subject.

The rechecking schedule will remain open from September 24 until October 8. No requests should be submitted after the announced deadline.

Candidates are advised to complete the process early. This can help them avoid problems close to the final submission date.
