Pakistani students hoping to study in the United States in 2027 have a new funding opportunity.

The University of Alabama is offering its Academic Elite Scholarship to eligible undergraduate applicants. International students, including applicants from Pakistan, can compete for the award.

The Scholarships provide tuition support, first-year housing, and additional annual financial assistance. The program is connected with the Dr. Robert E. Witt University Fellows Program.

Each year, eight students from the University Fellows cohort are selected for the Academic Elite Scholarship.

Seven selected students receive a $9,000 supplemental award each year. One student is named the Top Academic Elite Scholar.

The top scholar receives $9,000 during the first year. The award increases to $19,000 annually during years two through four.

The Top Academic Elite Scholar can also receive $5,000 for approved research or international study.
