Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to proceed with its planned march after negotiations with the government failed.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi announced a detailed schedule for the political mobilisation.

The first phase of the Long March will begin at 1pm on October 4 from Gandi Chowk, Lakki Marwat. The announcement follows a second round of negotiations between the government and opposition.

Both sides held talks to reduce political tensions and prevent the planned march. However, they failed to reach an agreement.

PTI Long March Begins From Lakki Marwat

According to Afridi, the first phase will involve supporters from several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Participants from Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, South Waziristan and North Waziristan will join the convoy. Supporters from Bannu and Lakki Marwat will also participate.

The convoy will travel towards Karak after gathering at Gandi Chowk. Participants are scheduled to spend the first night there.

PTI March Schedule for October 5 and 6

The Long March will continue from Karak on October 5.

Local supporters are expected to join the mobilisation at noon. The convoy will depart at 12:30pm for Kohat.

Another stage is planned for October 6. Supporters from Kohat, Hangu, Kurram and Orakzai are expected to join the procession.

The convoy will then leave Kohat and travel towards Peshawar. Participants are scheduled to spend the night near Matani before continuing the next stage.

Convoy to Move Through Peshawar

On October 7, the convoy will resume its journey from Budh Bair in Peshawar.

The scheduled departure time is 12:30pm.Participants from Khyber District will join the convoy at Budh Bair.

Supporters from other areas of Peshawar will join at designated locations. These locations include Kohat Road Bridge and the motorway toll plaza.

The procession will then travel towards the Charsadda Interchange.

According to the announced plan, participants will spend the night near the interchange.

PTI Supporters to Gather at Khairabad

The Long March will resume from Charsadda Interchange at 12:30pm on October 8.

Supporters from Charsadda and Mohmand are expected to join the convoy during this stage.

Afridi said participants travelling from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will eventually gather at Khairabad. PTI is expected to announce its strategy for the movement’s next phase after the gathering.

The planned mobilisation comes amid continued political disagreements between the government and PTI.
