In Islamabad, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, former Punjab Chief Minister and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been moved from Adiala Jail to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) due to complaints of heart-related pain and deteriorating health.
According to sources in the prison department, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi is also grappling with a chest infection. Initially examined in the jail hospital, the severity of his condition prompted his transfer to RIC for further treatment.

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s health has become a focal point, with medical experts closely monitoring his situation. This isn’t the first instance of health concerns during his time in jail.
Recently, he was hospitalized at PIMS Hospital for tests and examinations. Following these assessments, the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court granted permission for a personal meeting with him in Adiala Jail.
