The Directorate General of Customs Valuation in Karachi has amended customs values for the import of Cannula/I.V Catheter from 15 countries. The new valuation ruling (No. 1852/2024) revises the customs values for the import of Cannula/I.V Catheter with or without stoppers.

This amendment comes after a revision order was issued in response to concerns raised by representatives of M/s Hashir Surgical Services, focusing on issues related to the inclusion of their brand “Top” from Malaysia in the valuation ruling and differences in customs values for IV Cannula with and without stoppers imported from Vietnam.
The re-determination process involved a meeting, retrieval of 90 days’ clearance data, and a market inquiry in accordance with relevant customs regulations.
