Following a significant rise on Wednesday, gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Thursday, mirroring the decline in international rates.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,300 to Rs250,500, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In the local market, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,972 to Rs211,763, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased to Rs196,866.
Internationally, gold prices also declined, with the rate per ounce dropping by $43 to $2,370. Additionally, 24-karat silver prices fell by Rs60 on Thursday, reaching Rs2,860 per tola.
