A German tourist named Berg Florian was robbed and assaulted while camping near Lahore Airport. The attack occurred in the northern Cantt area, where 27-year-old Florian, who was cycling through Pakistan, was targeted by two unidentified assailants.
According to Florian’s FIR, the incident took place around midnight. He had set up his camp near the airport when the assailants approached him, demanding money and searching through his belongings. As Florian tried to escape, one of the attackers grabbed him by the throat, physically assaulted him, and forced him to hand over his valuables.

The robbers stole Florian’s camera, worth $2,000, along with his AirPods, iPhone, cash, and several other electronic devices. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at around 500,000 Pakistani rupees.
A manhunt for the attackers is ongoing, with police using CCTV footage from the area to aid their search. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Operations Muhammad Faisal Kamran has directed the police to intensify their efforts to catch the perpetrators.
After the assault, Florian, who fell unconscious a short distance from the scene, was helped by local youths who took him to a nearby hospital. Following initial treatment, he was moved to a nearby residence. The police have launched an investigation based on Florian’s complaint.
