The Punjab Police have launched the first Lady Dolphin Squad in Faisalabad to enhance crime-fighting efforts.
This initiative marks a major step in empowering women, as traditional police roles are now being filled by female officers.

The new squad, trained in handling 500cc motorcycles and automatic weapons, will work alongside male officers.
The squad aims to improve safety, especially in areas with high female foot traffic, such as women’s universities and markets.
A total of 500 female commandos will be deployed with similar training and equipment to set up checkpoints and conduct road inspections.
