On Thursday, Gold Prices in Pakistan surged significantly after decreasing for two consecutive days. The price per tola rose by Rs2,000 to reach Rs262,100, reflecting a rebound following a drop in international rates.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,714, reaching Rs224,708.

Meanwhile, the global gold market also saw a rise, with international prices climbing to $2,503 per ounce after a $22 gain during the trading day, as reported by the APGJSA.
In contrast, silver prices in the local market fell significantly, dropping by Rs50 to Rs2,900 per tola.
The local gold prices remain volatile due to international market fluctuations, currency exchange rates, and domestic demand factors.
