Salman Khan Receives Fresh Threat from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Over Song

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again been the target of a death threat, this time accompanied by a demand for a ransom. According to Indian media reports, just two days after allegedly receiving a threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Khan received another threatening message on Thursday, November 7.

A spokesperson from the Mumbai police confirmed that the Mumbai Traffic Control Room received the threat the previous night, which was reportedly sent by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The Worli Police have since registered a case and begun investigating the matter.

The message demanded INR 5 crore ($6 million) from Khan, and also threatened a songwriter who had written a song about Lawrence Bishnoi. The gang allegedly stated that they would target Khan’s supporters and dared the actor to protect the songwriter.

In response, the Traffic Police informed the Worli Police and shared all relevant information regarding the call, with authorities now working to trace the sender of the message.

This is not the first time Khan has faced such threats. On November 5, Mumbai Police received a separate threatening message, asking the actor to either apologize or pay INR 5 crore ($6 million) for his protection.

In connection with the earlier threat, a 32-year-old man, identified as Bheka Ram aka Vikram from Rajasthan’s Jalore district, was arrested in Karnataka and handed over to the Maharashtra police. Vikram, a daily wage laborer and self-proclaimed fan of Lawrence Bishnoi, reportedly made the threat call after seeing news on a regional channel.
