Wildfires have severely impacted three forests in Murree, namely the Ghoda Gali, PP-1, and Samli ranges, as they spread across 49 areas. The fires, which show no signs of slowing down, are intensifying, particularly during the night when winds strengthen.
The blaze, visible from miles away, has already caused extensive damage to the local landscape, destroying valuable timber worth millions of rupees. The economic toll on the area is significant, with the loss of these resources impacting the livelihoods of many residents.
