Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 112 Palestinians, including 27 children, marking one of the deadliest days in the renewed offensive that resumed after a collapsed ceasefire in mid-March. The airstrikes targeted various areas, including a school in Gaza City where displaced families had sought refuge.
In the Tuffah neighborhood, an Israeli bomb hit Dar al-Arqam School, killing at least 14 children and five women, while over 70 others were critically injured. The Israeli military claimed that the strike targeted a Hamas command center, but Hamas condemned it as a deliberate attack on civilians.

Other strikes in the Shijaiyah area killed more than 30 people, and overnight raids in Khan Younis, located in southern Gaza, killed at least 55, including entire families. Hospitals reported multiple casualties, with women and children among the victims.
Israel has also ordered further evacuations from northern Gaza as thousands of civilians flee their homes under the threat of additional attacks. The ongoing violence has displaced over 280,000 people, and Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that more than 50,000 Palestinians have lost their lives since the war began.
