Nintendo has officially revealed its next-generation console, the Switch 2, staying true to the original’s hybrid format while offering improved performance, a larger screen, and an upgraded stand. The new device retains the popular detachable Joy-Con controllers and promises better gameplay on the go and on TV.

With over 150 million units sold of the original Switch since 2017, the company hopes the new version will revive slowing sales. Analysts estimate a possible June release, with an expected price tag between $430 and $540.
