Deputy commissioners have been tasked with ensuring heatwave protection measures at public locations, and the PDMA has recommended using various media channels to raise awareness about the dangers of the heatwave.

In preparation, the School Education Department has been asked to halt outdoor activities for children during peak heat times. Farmers will be educated on the potential damage to crops, and awareness banners will be placed at bus and railway stations.

The Health Department has been instructed to set up heatwave counters at hospitals, and citizens are advised to wear head coverings and drink more water to prevent heat-related health issues.
