Mike Hesson Appointed Pakistan's White-Ball Head Coach

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced the appointment of Mike Hesson as the new head coach for Pakistan’s white-ball cricket team. Hesson, a seasoned coach with international experience, will officially begin his role on May 26.

Hesson is best known for his successful stint with New Zealand and is currently the head coach of Islamabad United, the reigning HBL Pakistan Super League champions. His vast experience is expected to inject new energy into Pakistan’s limited-overs cricket setup.

Naqvi also announced Aaqib Javed’s appointment as Director of the High Performance Centre. He emphasized that the position had been vacant and was filled after a careful review of multiple applications.
