Supreme Court Upholds Zahir Jaffer’s Death Sentence in Noor Mukadam Case

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has rejected Zahir Jaffer’s appeal in the high-profile Noor Mukadam murder case, upholding his death sentence for the brutal killing that shocked the nation.

While the murder conviction remains unchanged, the court commuted Jaffer’s separate death sentence for rape to life imprisonment. Additionally, his 10-year sentence for abduction has been reduced to one year.
