Sanjay Kapur married Karishma Kapoor on September 29, 2003, in a grand Sikh wedding held at the Kapoor family’s Krishna Raj Bungalow in Mumbai. Their marriage lasted over a decade before the couple filed for divorce in 2014. Though they attempted reconciliation, the divorce was finalized in 2016.
That same year, Karishma filed a domestic violence case against Sanjay and his mother, accusing them of physical abuse and alleging his involvement in an extramarital affair.
The former couple had two children together—Samaira and Kiaan. After parting ways with Karishma, Sanjay later married Priya Sachdev.
