In another tragic road accident in Karachi, a speeding dumper overturned onto a car on Rashid Minhas Road, killing a woman and a young girl on the spot. Rescue officials confirmed that a second woman sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital along with the bodies of the deceased. Identities of the victims are yet to be confirmed.
The incident underscores growing concerns over the unchecked movement of heavy vehicles in the city. Eyewitnesses reported that the dumper lost control at high speed, leading to the deadly overturning. Authorities have yet to disclose whether the driver has been detained.

In a separate incident earlier, another dumper carrying construction debris rammed into the boundary wall of a bungalow near Defence Morr. The impact left the driver and the cleaner injured, both of whom were hospitalized. According to police, the driver cited brake failure as the cause of the crash.
The driver in the second case has been taken into custody, while investigations continue. The string of accidents involving dumpers has raised alarm among citizens and prompted calls for stricter enforcement of road safety regulations and vehicle inspections.
