Former Indian actress and now a well-known religious public figure, Sana Khan, is mourning the loss of her mother, Mrs. Saeeda, who passed away after a prolonged illness. The heartbreaking news sparked an outpouring of condolences and prayers from fans and followers across social media.
Sana, who began her career in Bollywood in 2005, stepped away from the entertainment industry in 2020 to embrace a more spiritual path aligned with her Islamic faith. Her mother’s passing marks a profound personal tragedy, and messages of support continue to flood in as she navigates this time of grief.

Sharing the news on social media, Sana wrote:
“Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon. My beloved mother Mrs. Saeeda has returned to Allah after battling with poor health. Her funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be held at Oshiwara Qabrasthan after Isha.”
She also requested everyone to remember her mother in their prayers.
After leaving the film and television industry, Sana married Islamic scholar Mufti Anas Saiyad on November 21, 2020, in Surat, India. The couple has since welcomed two sons — their firstborn, Syed Tareeq Jameel, was named in honor of Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel and was born in July 2023. Their second son arrived in January 2024.
