Pakistan’s National Security Adviser, Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, is currently undertaking an official visit to China, where he participated in the Secretaries of the Security Council meeting held under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
During his address at the session, Lt. Gen. Malik reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to global peace, security, and stability amid the shifting dynamics of international relations. He emphasized the country’s ongoing role in supporting regional and international peace initiatives.

In addition to the SCO engagements, the NSA held important discussions with senior Chinese officials. Both Pakistan and China expressed a mutual desire to deepen security collaboration and further strengthen their bilateral relationship.
Lt. Gen. Malik reiterated Pakistan’s long-standing policy of peaceful coexistence with neighboring countries and underscored its dedication to fostering regional harmony and cooperation.
