Jemima Goldsmith Claims Imran Khan’s Sons Face Arrest Threat If They Visit Pakistan

British screenwriter and producer Jemima Goldsmith has expressed deep concern over the treatment of her sons in Pakistan. In a recent social media post, Jemima Goldsmith revealed that her children are not being allowed to speak with their father, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who has reportedly been in solitary confinement for nearly two years.

Jemima Goldsmith stated that Pakistani authorities have now warned her sons, Sulaiman and Qasim, against visiting their father. She claimed that if they attempt to do so, they may also face arrest and possible imprisonment.

“This doesn’t happen in a democracy or a functioning state,” Jemima wrote. “This isn’t politics. It’s a personal vendetta.”

Her statement comes amid growing political tensions in Pakistan. Earlier reports suggested that Sulaiman and Qasim plan to return from the United States to support their father’s political movement. Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, confirmed this outside Adiala Jail after meeting her brother and his wife, Bushra Bibi.

According to Aleema, Imran Khan has decided to launch a full-scale protest on August 5, marking two years since his imprisonment. She added that the former premier has urged his followers to prepare for a decisive movement, warning that those unable to carry the burden of the struggle should step aside.

Aleema also shared that the sons are not asking for permission to participate but are informing their father of their decision. Previously, the family had advised them to avoid political activity, but they now feel a strong urge to stand with him.

Jemima Goldsmith’s statement has sparked debate about personal freedoms, human rights, and the treatment of political prisoners in Pakistan. The situation remains tense as the planned protest date approaches.
