South Korean Actress Kang Seo Ha Passes Away at 31 After Battle with Cancer

Kang Seo Ha, the beloved South Korean actress known for her role in Heart Surgeons, has tragically passed away at the age of 31. The news was confirmed on Monday, July 14, following her battle with stage 4 acute stomach cancer.

According to her family, Kang’s condition worsened during her second round of chemotherapy. Despite the severe health decline, she continued to show immense strength and concern for others around her.

A close friend of the actress paid an emotional tribute to Kang Seo Ha on Instagram, recalling the kindness she showed even in her last days. “Despite enduring so much pain, she always worried more about others than herself,” the friend wrote. “She hadn’t eaten well for months, yet insisted on paying for my meals with her card, she was my angel.” The tribute continued, expressing disbelief at her passing, “I still can’t believe it. While enduring such great pain, she worried about the people around her. My angel, who left us far too soon.”

Kang Seo Ha’s journey as an actress began in 2012 with her debut in a Brave Guys music video. Over the years, she earned recognition for her roles in several hit dramas, including Schoolgirl Detectives, Assembly, Through the Waves, Nobody Knows, and Flowers of the Prison.
