Samiya Hijab Forgives Hassan Zahid, Withdraws Case After Reconciliation

Social media influencer Samiya Hijab has officially withdrawn her case of attempted kidnapping and threats against Hassan Zahid, citing reconciliation.

In an interview with a digital media outlet, Samiya revealed that she forgave Zahid β€œfor the sake of Allah.” She explained that both parties agreed to drop their allegations after Zahid and his family apologized.

According to reports, Zahid assured Samiya that he would not harass, defame, or harm her again. He expressed regret over his past actions and pledged to act responsibly in the future.

Samiya Hijab stated that she decided to withdraw the case after being approached by Zahid’s parents. His mother requested leniency, while his father personally apologized to her. β€œI have taken this decision to get out of the trauma and focus on my career,” Samiya said.

The influencer confirmed that Zahid is now eligible for bail, which is expected to be approved this week. She emphasized that her life is no longer at risk from her ex-fiancΓ© and that she wants to move forward positively.

Earlier, the case had drawn widespread attention after Hassan Zahid was arrested on September 2. He was sent to jail on judicial remand by an Islamabad sessions court under multiple sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including charges of attempted abduction, assault, robbery, defamation, and harassment.

The reconciliation marks a significant turn in the case, which initially appeared to be a prolonged legal battle. For now, Samiya Hijab has chosen closure over conflict, focusing instead on her personal growth and career.
