ABHI Partners with TRAY to Launch Earned Wage Access in KSA

KARACHI – MENAP-based fintech ABHI has officially partnered with TRAY, a leading cloud-based POS and business management platform in Saudi Arabia, to introduce Earned Wage Access (EWA) services in the Kingdom’s fast-growing food and beverage sector.

Earned Wage Access allows employees to withdraw part of their earned salary before payday. This system reduces financial stress, limits reliance on loans, and boosts productivity. Employers also benefit from higher retention and improved workforce morale.

The collaboration reflects how ABHI and TRAY are strategic partners in advancing financial inclusion under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. By embedding ABHI’s EWA technology directly into TRAY’s POS system, restaurants, cafés, and cloud kitchens across the Kingdom will now provide workers with instant salary access.

ABHI noted that TRAY was the ideal partner for this initiative because of its wide presence in the hospitality sector and its strong ecosystem, which already supports payments, financing, and delivery integrations. With the integration of EWA, frontline employees will gain financial flexibility while businesses enjoy lower turnover rates.

Since its launch in 2021, ABHI has expanded its services across Pakistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The company has processed nearly five million transactions worth more than $500 million globally, serving over one million users across industries such as textiles, healthcare, and technology.

ABHI is backed by major investors including Y Combinator, Global Ventures, and Zayn Capital. By joining forces with TRAY, ABHI aims to scale its innovative financial solutions and strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia’s dynamic economy.

Omair Ansari, CEO and Co-founder of ABHI, said the two companies are more than just collaborators — they are partners in delivering innovative tools that support workforce empowerment and sustainable growth.
