Trade analyst Taran Adarsh described the weekend numbers as “excellent,” highlighting the strength of Saturday and Sunday business. With no major Hindi releases until October 2, the film has a clear run at the box office. Upcoming releases like Kantara Chapter 1 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari may provide the next big challenge.
The Jolly LLB franchise has built a strong following over the years. The first film, released in 2013, starred Arshad Warsi and turned into a sleeper hit with lifetime earnings of ₹48.7 crore. It was praised for its storytelling and featured Saurabh Shukla, Boman Irani, and Amrita Rao.
Four years later, Jolly LLB 2 hit theatres with Akshay Kumar taking the lead as advocate Jolly Mishra. The sequel also featured Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor, and further cemented the series’ reputation for blending courtroom drama with social commentary.
