Bad Bunny to Headline Super Bowl Halftime Show 2026

Bad Bunny Set for Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Show

The NFL has announced that global music star Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LX in 2026. The game will take place on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and will air on NBC.

The news was revealed during halftime of the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. The show is being produced by DPS, with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers, in partnership with Apple Music.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, expressed pride in the opportunity. “This is for my people, my culture, and our history,” he said. He also shared a message in Spanish, telling fans to let their families know that he will be part of the Super Bowl stage.

NFL executives praised the decision, describing the artist as a natural fit. “Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music,” said Jon Barker, senior vice president of Global Event Production for the NFL. He added that the singer’s ability to connect across languages and genres makes him ideal for this major event.

Roc Nation founder Jay-Z also shared his thoughts. “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring,” he said, calling it an honor to have him perform on one of the world’s biggest stages.

The announcement comes after weeks of speculation that Taylor Swift might headline the 2026 show. Swift, engaged to NFL player Travis Kelce, has been a frequent presence at Kansas City Chiefs games. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had recently hinted that Swift’s involvement was “a maybe.”

Bad Bunny is one of the most streamed artists in the world and has won three Grammy Awards. He recently released his sixth studio album and is also active in sports, co-founding Rimas Sports and co-owning Puerto Rican basketball team Los Cangrejeros de Santurce.

The Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show 2026 is expected to be a landmark performance that highlights both his artistry and cultural influence.
