Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has revealed that she and her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal, purchased their spacious Mumbai home even before getting married. The actress shared the details in her latest YouTube vlog, where Zaheer also joined her to give fans a glimpse into their dream home.
In the video, Sonakshi takes viewers on a tour of the nearly completed house, showing the living room, kitchen, and other spaces. She explained that the couple’s home has been under renovation for the past nine months and is now in its final stages.
Zaheer added that they had started the property purchase long before their marriage but decided to begin renovations only after tying the knot. “We found our interior designer just ten days before the wedding,” he said, praising the team for finishing the work in under nine months.
Zaheer also shared his unique design ideas, joking that he wanted a wash basin “where water falls perfectly in the middle without touching the tap again” and furniture “strong enough for anyone to dance on.” Laughing at his remarks, Sonakshi said she preferred a “clean and white” interior theme to reflect her simple yet elegant style.
The couple first met at a party hosted by Salman Khan and dated for seven years before getting married. Zaheer made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with Notebook, a film produced by Salman Khan, while Sonakshi starred opposite him in Double XL (2022) and the music video Blockbuster.
Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai home on June 23 last year. The celebration was followed by a star-studded reception attended by celebrities including Rekha, Vidya Balan, Tabu, Anil Kapoor, and Aditya Roy Kapur.
The couple’s vlog has quickly gained attention online, offering fans a personal look into their relationship and new life together.
