Just days after being named Humanitarian of the Year in New York, Meghan Markle has added another accolade to her list of achievements. The Duchess of Sussex was honored with a gold award at the 4th Annual Signal Awards for her podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder.
The podcast won in the “Business People & Entrepreneurs Shaping Culture” category and also received the “Listener’s Choice” award. According to Signal, the category celebrates shows hosted by notable business leaders and entrepreneurs who have made a significant impact on culture through their podcasts.
Confessions of a Female Founder, produced by Lemonada Media, features Meghan Markle in conversations with influential female business leaders. Guests on the show include Whitney Wolfe Herd, Reshma Saujani, Kadi Lee, Jamie Kern Lima, Hannah Mendoza, Heather Hasson, Cassandra Morales Thurswell, Sara Blakely, and Tina Knowles. The podcast highlights their journeys, successes, and the challenges faced by women in business.
Despite the recognition, Meghan Markle announced in June that the podcast would be on pause to focus on her business ventures. “I love that there’s so much excitement and desire for another season, but I need to focus on my business,” she explained at the time.
This award marks the third podcasting accolade for Meghan Markle. She previously won two awards for her former show Archetypes, including the People’s Choice Award in 2022 and the Gracie Award in 2023.
Her recent achievements showcase her continued influence in both media and culture. From humanitarian efforts to highlighting women entrepreneurs through her podcast, Meghan Markle has consistently used her platform to inspire and engage audiences around the world.
