Saudi Arabia Finalizes Hajj 2026 Deals For Over One Million Pilgrims

Saudi Arabia has finalized contracts for the 2026 Hajj, securing arrangements for over one million pilgrims, six months ahead of the pilgrimage.

Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, called the early completion of agreements โ€œa historic achievementโ€ during the closing ceremony of the 5th Hajj Conference and Exhibition at Jeddah Superdome.

The ministry signed contracts with 77 countries, while the Saudi private sector entered over 3,000 agreements with Hajj operators worldwide. Al-Rabiah highlighted the participation of more than 160,000 visitors at the four-day event, a 33 percent increase compared to last year, representing 150 countries.

โ€œThe growing turnout shows global recognition of Saudi Arabiaโ€™s leadership in organizing Hajj with excellence and innovation,โ€ the minister said. He also praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for ensuring pilgrimsโ€™ safety and comfort.

Around 300 public and private organizations involved in Hajj services took part in the exhibition. They showcased initiatives and technologies aimed at improving the experience for pilgrims. The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) participated to highlight the historical and cultural significance of Hajj.

Al-Rabiah expressed gratitude to all contributors, calling the conference โ€œa remarkable achievement by all standards.โ€ He also announced the Umrah and Visit Forum in Madinah in January 2026, part of ongoing efforts to enhance services for pilgrims.

โ€œThis yearโ€™s Hajj conference aimed to ensure a safe and seamless journey for pilgrims, from departure to return home after visiting the holy sites,โ€ he added.

Saudi Arabiaโ€™s early contracts for the 2026 Hajj reflect careful planning and international cooperation, aiming to provide a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for every pilgrim.

This proactive approach ensures that pilgrims from across the globe will have their accommodations, transportation, and services efficiently managed, continuing the Kingdomโ€™s tradition of excellence in hosting Hajj.

The event and the contracts further strengthen Saudi Arabiaโ€™s position as the central hub for Islamic pilgrimage, emphasizing safety, innovation, and service quality for all pilgrims.

This historic milestone underlines the Kingdomโ€™s commitment to facilitating a seamless pilgrimage for millions of Muslims worldwide.
