On day two, Pakistan surpassed Sri Lanka’s meager first-innings total of 166, but were unable to go on as severe rain limited play to only 10 overs on Tuesday in Colombo.

On Wednesday, play will begin 15 minutes sooner, with Pakistan opener Abdullah Shafique (87) and skipper Babar Azam (28) seeking to bat Sri Lanka out of the game.

Pakistan leads the two-match test series 1-0 after winning the first match in Galle by four wickets.
