Pakistani actor and model Momina Iqbal announced on Thursday that her father has passed away.
The Grift star shared the sad news on her Instagram story, stating, “It is with great sadness that I want to inform you all that my father has passed away.” She also referenced a Qur’anic verse, saying, “Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we must return.” Momina provided details about her father’s funeral, which will be held at Miani Sahib graveyard in Lahore.

Momina had a close relationship with her father and frequently posted about her parents on social media. Last year, the Lollywood star organized a small ceremony to celebrate her parents’ wedding anniversary.
In a previous interview, Momina spoke highly of her father’s dedication to the family, noting how he took care of every detail for her mother. She expressed her hope that her future husband would have similar qualities.
