The vehicle they were driving in plunged down a ravine in northern Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing 24, including 12 women and 8 children, according to authorities.
“The driver’s carelessness caused the car to veer off the road and crash into a ravine. Den Mohammed Nazari, a police spokesperson in Sar e Pol province, said that 24 people had died. There were no other information regarding the accident’s cause available.
