Models at the bridal couture week walked the ramp wearing black and white keffiyehs, a traditional Middle Eastern scarf that has become a symbol of Palestinian nationalism and resistance. This gesture aligns with the worldwide support for Palestine, particularly in light of Israel’s recent actions in Gaza and the West Bank.

Actor-model Ahsan Khan, a show-stopper at the event, reinforced the call for peace by holding a placard with the message “For every child, for every home. Peace for Palestine.”
On a different note, Israel appeared to confirm ongoing negotiations to recover hostages held by Hamas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized the existential nature of the conflict in Gaza during a press conference, stating that the war must be fought until victory, and Gaza would be demilitarized and under Israeli security control.
The recent intensification of Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank has drawn attention and sparked global protests against Israeli aggression.
