SadaPay, a Pakistani fintech company, has announced that their SadaBiz platform for freelancers now supports payments via Apple Pay. Earlier this year, SadaPay introduced SadaBiz, a business account tailored to freelancers, with the aim of providing a means for global payments.
This announcement was made during SadaPay’s inaugural SadaSummit, held last Friday at COLABS. The event brought together industry veterans, thought leaders in the freelancing ecosystem, and early adopters of SadaBiz. In addition to the Apple Pay integration, the event featured panel discussions on the future of Pakistan as a global freelancing hub.

Despite the abundant tech talent in Pakistan, freelancers in the country face a multitude of challenges. These include a lack of awareness about opportunities, limited access to training facilities, difficulties in reaching the international market, and challenges in receiving payments from overseas clients. The inclusion of Apple Pay significantly simplifies the process for freelancers to connect with international clients.
According to a press release, SadaBiz will also soon accept payments via Google Pay, which is experiencing similar global adoption.
The press release also introduced “Sada-school,” a new platform offering masterclasses to help freelancers progress from novice to expert. The platform also fosters peer support and mentorship through a Discord community, which has already established a network of professionals hosting regular workshops to share their expertise in areas such as graphic design, copywriting, programming, and other high-income skills.
Brandon Timinsky, the Chief Executive of SadaPay, stated, “This is a service for the talented youth of Pakistan.” He added, “With SadaSchool, SadaPay’s objective is to empower Pakistan’s digital generation to excel in the global gig economy.”
He emphasized the vision of a future in which freelancing is central to the work of Pakistan’s youth, calling the integration of Apple Pay a significant step toward realizing this vision. Timinsky highlighted how this initiative not only opens up employment opportunities for the country’s skilled youth but also plays a crucial role in bringing valuable foreign exchange into Pakistan.
