Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari challenged the perception that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government performed better than his party’s government in Sindh, expressing confidence that people would vote based on actual performance.
In a series of tweets on the microblogging website X, Bilawal referred to a book authored by prominent economist Hafiz Pasha titled ‘Human Security in Pakistan’. He highlighted that according to the book, Sindh outperformed Punjab in various areas such as governance, economic indicators, and human security.

Bilawal lamented the PML-N’s reluctance to engage in a debate on the performance of provincial governments, asserting that the media perpetuates the myth of PML-N’s superior performance. He expressed hope that voters would prioritize real performance over political theatrics.
Sharing data on Pakistan’s exports of goods and services, Bilawal emphasized the importance of increasing exports to address the ongoing economic crisis. He pointed out that during the PPP’s tenure from 2008-2013, exports increased significantly, while they decreased during periods when PML-N was in power.
Bilawal concluded by asserting that the PPP is better at managing the economy, citing the increase in exports during their governance compared to decreases during PML-N’s tenure. He urged voters to consider these facts while casting their ballots.
