RAWALPINDI: A delegation of key business leaders recently met with Field Marshal Asim Munir to discuss Pakistan’s economic situation and potential reforms. The delegation, led by former caretaker federal minister Gohar Ejaz, included prominent figures such as APTMA Chairman Kamran Arshad and SM Tanvir, as well as the presidents of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
The primary focus of the meeting was to review the current state of the national economy. Gohar Ejaz, speaking on behalf of the delegation, emphasized that economic stability was gradually returning to Pakistan. The discussion centered on empowering the youth with emerging technologies such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence to foster economic resilience.
