Dollar bounces back against rupee

The Pakistani rupee faced renewed pressure against the US dollar after a brief period of stability. The dollar closed the trading session at Rs287.65, showing a gain of 16 paisas. Initially, it started trading at Rs287.75 with a rise of 29 paisas in the interbank market. Meanwhile, in the open market, the dollar maintained a stable value at Rs295.

This shift comes after the dollar had experienced a decline of 45 paisas in the previous trading day, trading at Rs287.46. Following almost a week of consistent appreciation, the US dollar saw a decrease in value against the Pakistani rupee on the third day of the business week. In the open market, the dollar’s value remained constant at Rs295, according to currency dealers.
