Gold Price Today in Pakistan Sees Sharp Rise Amid Global Surge

The gold price today in Pakistan saw a sharp increase, following an upward trend in international bullion markets. The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,200 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs354,700. Similarly, the 10-gram rate of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs2,744, now standing at Rs304,098.

According to the latest market data, the gold price today remained consistent across major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, Hyderabad, and Faisalabad. In all these cities, the per tola gold price was recorded at Rs354,700, while the silver rate stood at Rs3,841.

Gold prices in Pakistan have shown fluctuations since early July. On July 1, prices were around Rs356,800 and reached a peak of Rs357,000 by July 3. However, the upward trend reversed on July 4, with the price gradually dropping to Rs355,500, then to Rs353,000 by July 7, and settling at Rs351,500. The recent spike signals a return to bullish sentiment in the gold market.

Internationally, gold prices also surged. Global rates increased by $32 per ounce, reaching $3,324 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Silver also followed gold’s upward path. The silver price per tola reached Rs3,851, reflecting gains in both local and global markets.

Investors and jewellers are closely monitoring the gold price today as it continues to react to changes in global trends and market demand. With economic uncertainty and inflation pressures worldwide, gold remains a popular safe-haven asset.

Analysts suggest that if global bullion prices continue to rise, Pakistan’s local market may experience further price hikes in the coming days.
