Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan Amid Global Market Trends - July 15, 2025

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight decrease on Tuesday, following the downward trend seen in international markets. According to the latest figures from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs700, settling at Rs359,000.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a decline of Rs600, bringing the price to Rs307,784. Similarly, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs282,145 per 10 grams, reflecting a Rs550 decrease.

In the international market, gold prices eased slightly, with an ounce of gold priced at $2,365, a $7 dip compared to Monday’s rates. This decline is attributed to a stronger dollar and increased investor caution as the market awaits important economic data from the US Federal Reserve later this week.

Silver Prices Also Experience Decline

In addition to gold, silver prices have also taken a hit both locally and internationally. The price of 24-karat silver in Pakistan fell by Rs73, with the per tola price now at Rs4,014. Ten grams of silver were quoted at Rs3,441, down by Rs62.

On the global front, silver traded at $38.30 per ounce, marking a decrease of $0.73 from the previous session.

Overall, the drop in gold and silver prices reflects the ongoing fluctuations in the global markets, influenced by currency strength and upcoming economic announcements. Investors are advised to monitor these trends closely as market conditions continue to evolve.
