Gold prices in Pakistan dropped despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price for 24-karat gold per tola currently stands at Rs358,165, reflecting a decrease. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs257, bringing it down to Rs307,068. Similarly, 22-karat gold prices dropped to Rs281,489 per 10 grams.

While gold slipped, silver prices experienced a slight rise. The price of 24-karat silver increased by Rs14 per tola, now selling at Rs3,799, and the 10-gram silver rate rose by Rs12, reaching Rs3,257.
On the global front, spot gold prices fell to around $3,346 per ounce, a drop of $35, primarily driven by a stronger U.S. dollar, which typically applies downward pressure on precious metals.
