Gold prices in Pakistan dropped slightly on Wednesday, following two consecutive days of sharp increases that had pushed rates to record highs.
As per the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs600, bringing it down to Rs356,200. Meanwhile, 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs514 to settle at Rs305,384.

The international market mirrored this trend, with gold losing $6 per ounce to stand at $3,342.
Silver also faced a similar fate in the local market, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola dropping to Rs3,816, and 10 grams sliding to Rs3,271.
