Gold prices in Pakistan surged once again on Saturday, following a rise in global precious metal rates.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold dropped significantly by Rs1,600 per tola, now priced at Rs275,500, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Additionally, the cost of 10-gram 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs1,372, bringing it to Rs236,197.
Globally, gold prices also rose, climbing by $16, with the international price reaching $2,656 per ounce, as reported by the APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,050 per tola. Last month, gold prices in Pakistan had hit a record high of Rs277,000 per tola, driven by fluctuations in global markets.
