Gold Rates in Pakistan Fall Sharply: Prices Drop by Rs. 5,900

Gold rates in Pakistan have experienced a significant decline, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs. 5,900 to settle at Rs. 359,000 per tola.

The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs. 5,058, now priced at Rs. 307,784. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a dip of Rs. 4,637, bringing the new price to Rs. 282,145.

This drop in gold prices has impacted various cities across Pakistan. In Lahore, the price of 24-karat gold per tola is now Rs. 359,000, while 10 grams are priced at Rs. 307,782.

In Islamabad and Karachi, gold is priced higher, with the per tola rate at Rs. 364,900 and 10 grams at Rs. 312,842. Quetta has similar rates to Islamabad and Karachi, with per tola gold priced at Rs. 364,900 and 10 grams at Rs. 312,844. Peshawar follows Lahore’s rates, with per tola gold priced at Rs. 359,000 and 10 grams at Rs. 307,784.

In addition to the drop in gold rates, silver also witnessed a downward trend. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs. 24, now priced at Rs. 4,057, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs. 20, bringing it to Rs. 3,478.

On the global market, gold prices also saw a decrease. The price of gold per ounce dropped by $61, now standing at $3,363. Similarly, silver lost $0.26, bringing its price to $39.08 per ounce.

This drop in gold rates may have a significant impact on both local markets and consumers looking to invest in or sell gold. The decline in silver prices adds further concern for those in the precious metals market.
