Gold, Silver Rates in Pakistan Stabilize Amid Market Fluctuations

Gold, Silver Rates in Pakistan Stabilize Amid Market Fluctuations

On Monday, March 9, 2026, gold, silver rates in Pakistan showed stability after recent fluctuations in the bullion market.

The price of gold per tola remained at Rs539,862, while 10 grams of gold traded at Rs462,844. Silver rates also rose slightly, with one tola reaching Rs8,931.

The bullion market experienced sharp movements last week due to regional tensions and a strong rally in global gold and silver markets. On Friday, gold prices had dropped by Rs3,400 per tola, closing at Rs533,762, before rebounding on Monday.

In addition to standard gold, 22-karat gold is trading at Rs478,958 per tola, 21-karat at Rs457,187, and 18-karat at Rs391,875. Per gram, the prices are Rs41,063 for 22K, Rs39,197 for 21K, and Rs33,597 for 18K gold. One ounce of 22K gold is priced at Rs1,163,868.

Market analysts said the rebound in gold, silver rates reflects investor confidence amid global economic uncertainty. Traders noted that international demand for bullion has increased due to fluctuating currency values and geopolitical concerns.

Silver prices also saw a modest rise, climbing Rs17 per tola to reach Rs8,931. Experts suggest that silver demand is slowly picking up as investors seek alternatives to volatile stock and forex markets.

Jewellers in major cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad reported steady customer interest despite the price volatility. They said the current gold, silver rates encourage buyers to make purchases before potential further fluctuations.

Financial experts advise investors to monitor market trends closely, as global political and economic developments continue to influence bullion prices in Pakistan.

With prices rebounding after a short decline, both gold and silver remain attractive options for investment and personal savings amid an uncertain financial landscape.
