Yamaha has unveiled a new colour scheme for its flagship model, the YBR 125G. The bike was photographed yesterday in a vibrant colour that appeared to be bright red.
However, the company has officially announced its launch, stating that the new colour is Matte-Orange. According to the advertisement, the company appears to be offering the new paint job as a replacement for the gloss-red paint.
Matte-Grey, Metallic Black, and Matte Orange are now available as paint colours. The remaining characteristics are the same as before.
While the company has not specified the price of the new colour, the Matte Orange YBR125G is expected to cost Rs. 410,000.
Yamaha Price Increases
Yamaha announced its third price increase for its motorcycle lineup in 2023 earlier this month, raising the price of its bikes to Rs. 410,000. Yamaha increased bike prices seven times by 2022.
The most affordable Yamaha motorcycle is the YB 125Z, which costs Rs. 356,000. Yamaha’s most expensive motorcycle is the YBR 125G (Matte Grey), which costs Rs. 410,000. Despite the cosmetic upgrade, demand for the YBR125G is expected to remain low given current prices.
